November 8

November 8's not just a date but a really nice chillax cafe located at Thomson Road. Its kinda new but definitely a place to sit back, relax and chit chat. I really like the warm and homey feel at that place so do expect a whole lot of camwhore pictures below before I start off with the introduction of food. :) I'd say that the owners did put in quite the effort to make it comfy. Love the brown, the wood and the coffee beans!

And the Coffee Beans. The coffee tastes so good cause they use coffee beans instead of just normal powder. Its the first time I get to study the coffee bean machine though I still havent the slightest idea how it works.

Unlike other cafes, they do provide all-day breakfasts here and Im all ready to try them out. And then.... And then... I chanced upon a guitar sitting there so silently in front of the red bricks. The color mix was so neat I just had to take a pic. Camwhore-mode has been switched on and I shamelessly posed with the guitar. Luckily, it was well past lunch time and there weren't many customers at that timing.

Really love the pictures taken. I swear if I were to just decorate it a bit, it'd look like an MV cover or a postcard. HAHA. Anyway by the time I finished posing, food was served.

Their hot chocolate came with marshmallows. How sweet! Its got quite a unique flavor to it. Im not like a coffee expert to tell you exactly how it tasted like? Erm, something like roasted chocolate? OKAY. I've tried my best to describe.

Rosemary Chicken Breast - Tasted alright. Just a little bit too hard.

Egg Benedict - The yolk was cooked to perfection. If you like butter than you'll probably like this!

Big Breakfast - The ham and sausage was yummy. Again, eggs tasted buttery and was really soft.

And here comes my favourite dish of all! Their icecream waffles! I love their waffles here, not too crunchy, not too soft. It tasted just about right! Definitely coming back for more waffles!

Im not a coffee-lover but November 8 is definitely a good place to chill, especially when you feel like eating breakfasts in the middle of the day or even at night! And their waffles are just so worth not-dieting for! Im missing it already..
